Shenzhou Yinuo’s case is selected for inclusion in the Blue Book on the Development of China’s Hotel Procurement & Supply Chain Industry.
BOUNDLESS SMART CHAIN, WIN-WIN FUTURE
Recently, the 3rd Hotel Supply Chain Operators Conference themed Boundless Smart Chain · Win-Win Future kicked off in Shanghai. Guided by China Tourism Hotel Association and hosted by its Procurement & Supply Chain Branch, the grand event unveiled the Blue Book on China’s Hotel Procurement and Supply Chain Development (2025-2026 Edition).
Shenzhou Yinuo, a subsidiary of Digital China Holdings Limited (00861.HK), has been featured in the Blue Book with real-world implementation cases powered by its self-developed Shenzhou Zhiliao Intelligent Management Platform, serving as a benchmark model for the digital and intelligent transformation of hotel procurement supply chains.
Currently, China’s hospitality industry is shifting from expansion driven by new incremental projects to refined management of existing assets. Operational efficiency, asset returns and cost control have evolved into core priorities. Nevertheless, hotel assets are inherently characterized by separation of three rights, wide-ranging product categories, scattered geographical distribution and frequent dynamic turnover. Coupled with disjointed procurement and asset management, information asymmetry, inconsistent book records against physical inventory and surging labor costs, these challenges drastically hinder supply chain performance and the realization of asset value.
Against such a backdrop, Shenzhou Yinuo’s self-developed Shenzhou Zhiliao Intelligent Management Platform is built on a cloud-native distributed architecture. Integrating technologies including AI agents, the Internet of Things, RFID and digital twin, the platform features five core capabilities: visible assets, traceable data, controllable risks, improved efficiency and incremental value. It delivers a digital and intelligent solution covering the full asset lifecycle from budgeting, procurement, warehousing, utilization, maintenance and inventory counting through to disposal. The platform empowers hotels to break down data barriers between procurement and asset management, enabling a dual transformation from experience-driven operation to data-driven management and from fragmented control to collaborative closed-loop management.
Centered on core scenarios including hotel procurement, material control and equipment maintenance, the platform leverages intelligent algorithms to calculate material demand and effectively cut excess inventory. It establishes digital archives via unique item coding for full-lifecycle asset traceability, fundamentally resolving the longstanding discrepancy between book records and physical stock. Powered by IoT technology for linen management, the solution boosts inventory checking efficiency by up to 90% and cuts handover time by 60%. Meanwhile, it enables refined oversight of scattered low-value consumables and equipment maintenance, substantially lowering labor expenses and asset wastage costs across the board.
This set of solutions has delivered tangible results after implementation at multiple leading hotel groups. For instance, InterContinental Hotels Group has realized intensive asset operation and maintenance across nearly 1,000 properties nationwide with the platform’s support. At InterContinental Wuxi Taihu New City, inventory auditing efficiency has risen by 70%, labor costs have been reduced by 50%, and the matching rate between physical assets and accounting records approaches 100%. Chengdu Kempinski and hotels under Bangtai Group have also unlocked idle assets and cut overall operational losses following the system deployment.
