Recently, Tao Xichuan Hotel (The Unbound Collection by Hyatt) successfully hosted an elegant gathering featuring tea and wine tasting alongside flower art appreciation at the Water Courtyard on the first floor. The event partnered with eight renowned kilns, including Jiuduan, Fengyao, Keqin Tang, Youci Kiln, Yilin Tang, Yiyun Zhuquan, Wenxiang Kiln, and Haoran Tang. Mr. Li Hao, General Manager of Tao Xichuan Hotel (The Unbound Collection by Hyatt) in Jingdezhen, delivered a speech on site.

Curated by Style Gallery, the event invited Yang Feng, Principal of Longhe Tea — China’s top white tea brand, and Shi Lei, Brand Ambassador of Pernod Ricard, to engage in a dialogue on exquisite living and exquisite craftsmanship within the hotel’s art space. Leveraging the warmth of renowned kiln artifacts, the gathering offered guests an elegant and romantic Chinese-style experience.

My team and I have always strived to integrate artistic content into the hotel’s traditional spaces. We aim to break conventions and provide all guests with a distinctive artistic experience — this is the new model we aspire to co-create.

I believe everyone is familiar with the Water Courtyard where we are gathered. Today, I wish to share its special significance: the hotel’s architect is Sir David Chipperfield, winner of the 2023 Pritzker Architecture Prize, and this courtyard is his masterpiece. Placing exquisite utensils within this minimalist yet powerful architectural space creates a harmonious interplay between art and architecture, enhancing each other’s charm.

As hosts of this event, our culinary team has meticulously prepared signature delicacies — each dish complements the elegant tableware, promising an unforgettable taste experience. Additionally, guests can enjoy mellow wines, refined tea ceremonies, and vivid flower arrangements, making the gathering a rich feast for the taste, smell, and sight. We look forward to collaborating with all of you on the journey of artistic co-creation and integration, working together for a bright future!”

Afternoon Tea at the "Half-Day Serenity • Elegant Gathering"

Inspired by works of art, the hotel’s culinary and F&B team crafted a custom afternoon tea. Combining local characteristics and culture, they selected high-quality ingredients to create savory offerings such as Caviar Mushroom Truffle Tart and Japanese Fresh Eel Sushi Handrolls, paired with sweet treats including Red Wine Foie Gras Mousse, Fuliang Black Tea Chocolate Cake, Coconut Yellow Plum Mousse Cake, and Peach Mousse Cake. This creative and customized afternoon tea took guests on a flavorful journey infused with strong artistic vibes. Tao Xichuan Hotel (The Unbound Collection by Hyatt) will continue to uphold the spirit of artistic exploration, explore the diversity of local art and culture, and bring more wonderful artistic experiences to every guest.
